Our estate owns vineyards in some of the most the prestigious steep sites of the Middle Mosel. The unique combination of moderate temperatures, steep slopes and slate soils from the Devonian Age gives our wines a distinctiveness not to be found anywhere else in the world.

Our philosophy of low yields and selective manual picking results in grapes of the highest possible quality. Vinification in small stainless steel tanks with slow fermentation at low temperatures produces wines with pure, clean aromas and exciting fruit.

You can try them for yourself in our vinothek in Bernkastel-Kues, where we can also accommodate tastings for larger groups. Our property comprises an impressive estate building with tasting facilities in the small chapel, cellar vaults or baroque hall.
