The winemaking tradition of our Conrad family goes back 14 generations to the year 1558. Martin Conrad, whose grandfather was once one of the founders of the Bernkasteler Ring, has been responsible for the cultivation and development of the wines since 1998 and took over the business in 1999.

We have been cultivating our vineyards in a very natural and sustainable way for many years. In 2019, we began the certification process for organic viticulture and successfully completed it in 2022. With the 2022 vintage, we will be able to offer certified organic wines from our steep slate slopes for the first time.

Our wines are highly regarded by discerning private customers as well as in starred restaurants such as the "GERANIUM" restaurant (***- Guide Michelin) in Copenhagen (DK) or the "Alois - Dallmayr Fine Dining" (***- Guide Michelin) in Munich Gault Millau, 2 grapes

We offer wine connoisseurs spontaneously fermented wines with a fine natural residual sweetness from the best slate steep slopes of the Middle Moselle. The wines fermented with natural yeasts reflect the unmistakable character of each individual vineyard like a unique fingerprint! All wines have been consistently vinified VEGAN (without animal fining agents etc.) and without enzyme additives since 1999. They have a high ageing potential of at least 10 years and longer!

Clear, precisely crafted Rieslings, puristically dry ... a very independent character!
Eichelmann, 4 stars
The mineral-clear Goldkapsel wines prove what is also possible in this area of the Middle Mosel. (...) We particularly liked the dry Juffer-Sonnenuhr Goldkapsel.
Gault Millaut, 2 stars
Complexity, structure and mineral notes finely staged and elegantly interwoven.
